We went to the pickup area that was listed in the e mail and saw no one. We had a scheduled arrival time into Cancun at 10:15pm and arrived on time. But it is not cool to drive across the state for such a stop. It is fine if we are going to a site right next to these vendors. On an already long day this added 90 minutes round trip for nothing. This was 90 minutes out of the way from where we were going just so they could take us to a tourist trap they are contractually obligated to visit. However, their commitments to local vendors had them still take us tot he original site which was closed so they could take us to visit the local artists they have deals with. Additionally, our archealogical site was closed and we agreed to visit an alternate location. Luckily a bilingual guest alerted us that this was not a mandatory document and we were agreeing to pay $40. But these were order forms and he was trying to sell us a calendar by having us fill out what turned out to be a request for sale. ![]() He distributed forms and told us to fill them out, and it seemed these were required for entering the site. The drive going to the airport was slow and bad not only because of the traffic, but also the driver was making bad choices, for example before big intersections going in the right lane where lot of cars will merge in and cut the way. ![]() we ended sharing the taxi with the other family, they also charged the other family a full price as if they had an individual ride, and not sure the driver did not pocket for himself the extra money ($100). Then followed negotiations, since he declared they don't have another taxi to come and pick us up, we were already starting to be too late for the airport. In mean time a driver came to pick up another family, told us that he did not have us in the system, called and it was confirmed that we paid already a return taxi. we tried calling all their numbers available on the reservation email, and none got through. On the way back, from the Resort to the airport, the taxi did not come in time. When we arrived in Cancun, they found a car fat and we had a smooth drive to the hotel. Thank you for sending us the best and for making out trip to Tulum unforgettable! So glad i found this company, and truly a 5 star experience from driver, services and communication. 50+ group tour buses can be exhausting and a lot of wasted time. The custom tour allowed us to sightsee at our leisure and choosing of places to visit, beating out massive tour crowds which would have cost the same if not more for our group of up to 6 ppl. We were also able to lunch at a restaurant of our choice without having to do the typical “tour lunch”. ![]() Miguel made sure we properly entered and purchased our tickets before waiting for us to complete our tour at each stop. Although our tour did not include admission fees to each site or lunch, we were able to easily purchase entrance fees at each stop. We were sent Miguel, who showed up promptly and took excellent care of us and transported us efficiently and safely to each of our locations including Chitchen Itza, two cenotes followed by lunch and shopping in Valladolid. Truly affordable prices for private tours.
